Welcome to Stone Town Guesthouse. Please read our Terms of Service carefully before booking and staying with us. By making a reservation and staying at our guesthouse, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Reservations and Payments

• Booking Confirmation: All reservations must be confirmed with a valid credit card or advance payment.
• Payment Policy: Full payment is required at the time of booking. We accept major credit/debit cards, cash, and mobile payments.
• Pricing: All rates are quoted in Botswana Pula (BWP) and include applicable taxes. Prices are subject to change without prior notice.

2. Check-In and Check-Out

• Check-In Time: Check-in is from 2:00 PM onwards. Early check-in may be available upon request and subject to availability.
• Check-Out Time: Check-out is by 10:00 AM. Late check-out may be requested and is subject to availability and additional charges.
• Identification: Valid identification is required at check-in for all guests.

3. Cancellation and Refund Policy

• Cancellation: Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours prior to the check-in date to avoid charges.
• Refunds: Cancellations made within 48 hours of check-in will incur a one-night charge. No-shows will be charged the full amount of the reservation.
• Changes: Reservation changes are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.

4. Guest Responsibilities

• Conduct: Guests are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful and non-disruptive manner.
• Damage and Loss: Guests are responsible for any damage or loss caused to the guesthouse property during their stay.
• Personal Belongings: The guesthouse is not responsible for the loss or damage of personal belongings. Safes are provided in rooms for valuables.

5. House Rules

• Smoking Policy: Smoking is not allowed inside the rooms. Designated smoking areas are provided.
• Pet Policy: Pets are welcome in designated pet-friendly rooms. Guests must notify the guesthouse in advance and are responsible for their pets at all times.
• Noise Policy: Please respect the privacy and comfort of other guests by keeping noise to a minimum, especially between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM.

6. Health and Safety

• Emergency Procedures: In case of emergency, please follow the instructions provided by the guesthouse staff and use the emergency exits.
• Medical Conditions: Guests are responsible for notifying the guesthouse of any medical conditions that may require special attention during their stay.

7. Use of Facilities

• Amenities: Use of amenities (such as the spa, dining areas, and entertainment facilities) is subject to availability and guesthouse policies.
• Liability: The guesthouse is not liable for accidents or injuries that occur during the use of guesthouse facilities.

8. Privacy Policy

• Personal Information: The guesthouse respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. Any data collected will be used solely for the purposes of your stay and will not be shared with third parties without your consent.

9. Governing Law

• Jurisdiction: These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Botswana. Any disputes arising from these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Botswana.

10. Amendments

• Changes to Terms: The guesthouse reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Guests will be notified of any changes prior to their stay.
